Hello again,

         Man!  This year is going by so fast.  Summer is creeping up on us already.  It's mid May and school lets out soon and summertime vacations are right around the corner.  So hold on for a fun ride.  This weekend the hotel will be full because the Prime Timers are in town for their annual getaway.  For those of you that aren't familiar with the  Prime Timers, it's a social club for mature men and their admirers.  Then next week the summer season officially kicks off with the big Memorial Day bash.

        This weekend we were pretty busy .We had some really nice guests stay here with us.  Jim, Patrick and Jason were down from Houston for some fun in the sun.  Christos was here from Houston as well for his first time on South Padre.  Mark came all the way from Washington DC for a wedding on our little bit of paradise.  Stephan came back to visit us from Belgium.  He was here two years ago and had such a great time he made a return visit.  Zac , from Austin, was another return visitor.  He hadn't been here in five years.  Donald was another guy from Austin and  he says it's been about five years since he's been here at the Deck.  Orlando and Tony were here from San Benito.  Hey, wasn't that a singing group a long time ago?  Hector and Albert visited from Brownsville.  Pete and Ruben were her from Mcallen.  Juan was down from Mcallen as well.  Eleanor and her group came out from Hidalgo.  Ken and Brian were down from Houston for some partying.  Speaking of parties, Bart and Jeff came out to the island to celebrate Jeff's birthday on Sunday.  They whupped it up!  They had a ball singing karaoke and and putting down all kinds of shots.  Yessir, we are having karaoke again.  It's on Sunday nights and it was hosted by Allen from Brownsville.  Drop on in and join is the fun.
